Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian welcomes the Ambassador of Brazil to the Philippines, His Excellency Gilberto Fonseca Guimarães de Moura on Tuesday (March 12).
During the envoy’s courtesy visit to the DSWD Central Office in Quezon City, Secretary Gatchalian and Ambassador Guimarães discussed possible areas of collaboration to strengthen the social protection programs in the Philippines.
The DSWD Secretary recognized that the Philippines can learn a lot from Brazil being known for its very successful social protection programs.
