Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Friday (October 20) sealed a partnership with the University Hotel (UH) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that provides for the temporary hosting of Department activities at the UH while the DSWD Academy is still under renovation.
The UH, which is located in the University of the Philippines Diliman campus, was represented by Hotel Operations Manager Mr. Melvin Gomez and Marketing Department Chief Ms. Ma. Terrisa Estidola.
Other agency representatives who graced the MOU signing were DSWD Standards and Capacity Building Group (SCBG) Undersecretary Denise Florence Bernos-Bragas, Asst. Secretary for SCBG Janet Armas, Asst. Secretary for Partnerships Building and Resource Mobilization Atty. Ana Maria Paz Rafael, Standards Bureau (SB) Director Atty. Megan Therese Manahan, and Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau (SWIDB) Director Atty. Justin Caesar Anthony Batocabe.
