Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Friday (October 20) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Association of Foundations (AF), led by Chairperson Ms. Ma. Gisela Tiongson, and the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF), headed by Board of Trustee Mr. Austere Panadero, to improve the regulatory mandate of the DSWD and provide technical assistance to different Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs).
The MOU signing was also attended by DSWD Standards and Capacity Building Group (SCBG) Undersecretary Denise Florence Bernos-Bragas, Asst. Secretary for SCBG Janet Armas, Asst. Secretary for Partnerships Building and Resource Mobilization Atty. Ana Maria Paz Rafael, Standards Bureau (SB) Director Atty. Megan Therese Manahan, Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau (SWIDB) Director Atty. Justin Caesar Anthony Batocabe, AF Executive Director Mr. Norman Joseph Jiao, and LCF Board Treasurer Ms. Marie Angeles.
